Important comment period on Amendment 5!

CHOIR ALERT

As you all know, we have been working for roughly six years on Herring Amendment 5. This amendment was initiated and developed in order to address the many issues plaguing the herring fishery management plan. After all of these years of hard work, we are now in the final stages of the process. After the Council wrote and submitted the document, NMFS has now taken it and opened up two comment periods. The first, and arguably most important, ends this Friday, the 21st, at 5PM. It is essential that we get as many comments in as possible!!!

Below you will find a simple letter that you can use to send in a comment. Feel free to take this letter and do whatever to you it that you want. Your help would be much appreciated.
