Amendment 5 Public Hearing Schedule Announced!!

CHOIR ALERT

As you know, Herring Amendment 5 has been in the works for four years now. This amendment is focused on putting better monitoring on the big trawlers and single midwater trawlers in the herring fishery. Finally, this process is coming to a head and the Council recently announced the public hearing schedule. See the attachment below for a hearing notice that outlines the schedule and locations. It is vital that people turn out for these hearings to let the Council know that they want better monitoring in the herring fishery! More information to come but please mark these dates on your calendar!
